Kelly Brook may Waltz Back to Strictly

Kelly Brook could make a return to the new series of Strictly Come Dancing.
The English model/actress took part in the series in 2007 but chose to pull out after her father died from cancer.
Bosses are hoping to persuade the 30 year old to make a return.
“Kelly is one of the hottest contestants we’ve ever had on the show,” a senior BBC cource told The Daily Star newspaper.
“Talks are still going on, so we will have to wait and see whether this year will be the one for Kelly. We hope so.”
Kelly took part in this years Strictly Come Dancing tour and released a Strictly Come Dancing themed fitness DVD with proffessional dancer Flavia Cacace in 2008.
Jason Statham wants more “Old school Action Movies”

British actor Jason Statham has said he was thrilled to bag the role of Lee Christmas in The Expendables as he loved the script so much and has hopes that it will mark the start of a new swathe of action movies.
Statham worked with jet Li on The Expendables and they also worked together in 2001 on The one and War in 2007. The most recent is his fave though. He told Cover Media
“The films that I have done with Jet Li are very science fiction based. This one works because it harks back to the old school action movies that basically are the ones I am interested in doing.
Its coincidental that we’re doing this film together. It’s not like we tried to beat Sly up and hold him down and say, we want to do another film together make sure we’re in it.”
Cheryl to stay Cole

Cheryl Cole will reportedly keep her married name after being inspired by singer Tina Turner who kept her ex husband Ike’s name after they divorced.
A source told The Sun newspaper that he rmarried name will stay because she feels that the most successful period of her career has been under Cole.
“Shes established in Europe. Going back to her maiden name Tweedy would be confusing. It also shows she is bigger than Ashley and prepared to be grown up about a difficult time in her life.
It is also claimed that she is still reffered to as Tweedy on her mail and passport as she did not change it when she got married.
Cheryl flew to LA recently to work on new solo material and her new single is set to be launched on this years X Factor.
The Stars are Instyle at Summer Soiree Event

The Instyle magazine Summer Soiree took place in LA last night with celebrities showing off their best looks.
Kim Kardashian wore a dress from Victoria Beckham’s AW 2010 collection. It cost £1,300.
Kelly Brook and Cat Deeley were flying the flag for the Uk. Kelly wore a pearl-coloured ballerine-style dress with a daring neckline. A blue clutch and wine-coloured nails added some colour to the look. Cat wore a J. Mendel ruffled dress and silver Jimmy Choos.
Other stars at the event included Amanda Righetti from “The Mentallist”, Autumn Reeser from “The O.C.”, Leven Rambin from “All my Children” and Odette Yustman from “The Unborn”.
The Expendables UK Premiere

The UK premiere of The Expendables took place in London’s Leicester Square with stars from the film Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham and Dolph Lundgren among the guests.
The Expendables is an action/thriller about a group of mercenaries who are hired in order to infiltrate a South American country and otherthrow its ruthless dictator.
With a cast also featuring Bruce Willis, Steve Austin, Jet Li and Mickey Rourke, The Expendables has been dubbed the “manliest film ever.” It was also written and directed by Sylvester Stallone.
Stallone, Statham and Lundgren also met soldiers from the British Army and earlier on visited an Army barracks in Central London.
Rihanna Battleship Movie Debut

According to Variety, Rihanna is to make her movie debut in nautical blockbuster “Battleship.”
The spin-off from the board game is set to be directed by Peter Berg (Hancock) and will also star Taylor Kitsch (Friday Night Lights) and Alexander Skarsgard (True Blood) as two naval officer brothers who lead the fight of a fleet and ships that come into contact with an extra-terrestrial force.
Battleship is schenduled fro release May 25 2012.
New Addition to Transformers 3 is Hit on Set

So far so good for British model- turned actress Rosie Huntington -Whiteley.
The producer of the new Transformers movie has told EOnline.com “well Rosie is pretty hot. But she’s been great. She has a fantastic attitude and she’s been having lots of fun.”
He also added that Rosie and co-star Shia LaBeouf have “great chemistry.”
LaBeouf’s rep recently called stories of him falling for his new co-star “fabricated” after reports that Whiteley’s boyfriend Jason Statham was “furious.” LaBeouf is dating actress Carey Mulligan.

Kelly Brook Surprises in X Factor Poll Win

Kelly Brook was the surprise winner of a poll by MSN Entertainment survey on who the nation would like to see stand in for Cheryl Cole as a judge on the X Factor.
5,000 Brits were surveyed and 21 per cent said that Cheryl is irreplaceable but the same amount said they would like to see the model in the judges’ seat.
In 1999 Kelly was famously sacked from her first presenting role on The Big Breakfast and her judging role on Britain’s Got Talent was cut short by Simon Cowell in 2009.
Cheryl’s Girls Aloud bandmate Kimberly Walsh scored 12 percent while Katy Perry scored 11 percent.
Katie Price has spoken recently about wanting the job but she only managed just over 6 percent as did Pussycat Dolls front girl Nicole Scherzinger.
Another of Cheryl’s band mates, Nadine Coyle and Spice Girl Mel B received 3 percent.

Is Mark Ruffalo the New Hulk?

Rumours are rife that Mark Ruffalo will replace Edward Norton in the Avengers movie, in the role of The Hulk.
Norton played Dr Bruce Banner/The Incredible Hulk in The Incredible Hulk released in 2008. He was set to continue the role on The Avengers due out in 2012 but he President of Production Kevin Feige announced that he would be replaced.
Rufallo who starred in Shutter Island and Zodiac is in “late-stage talks” to land the role, according to Deadline Hollywood.
Cheryl Cole Leaves Hospital

Cheryl Cole has left hospital and will continue her recovery from malaria at her Surrey mansion. A friend told The Daily Star “Cheryl’s at home now. She left the clinic earlier today.”
Cheryl has had to cancel all work commitments including the boot camp stages of The X Factor but hopes to be back for the live finals.
Simon Cowell recently advised the Geordie singer to rest.
